Primary Hyperparathyroidism

Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of primary Hyperparathyroidism are presented. Both cases had various different clinical manifestations and were treated surgically. Microscopic examinations revealed that one had parathysoid adenoma and other had parathyroid hyperplasia. Recently, diagnosis of primary hyperparathyroidism have been made frequently by continneous screening test of the suspicious patients. Earlier clinical recognition of Hyperparathyrordism and newer refinements in the diagnostic methodshave resulted in fewer far-advanced and longstanding cases.
Various clinical symptoms, newer diagnostic methods and problems in operation are discused.
